Clinical asthma guidance, turned into stories families can act on

Our Partners:
Evidence-based. Community-informed. Rigorously evaluated.
Empowering Families tackles childhood asthma disparities in Milwaukee and Madison, where rates outpace state and national averages. Through animation paired with a companion toolkit—action plans, inhaler guides, and trigger maps—this initiative helps families learn to manage symptoms.
We translated evidence-based clinical guidelines into animated episodes, developed in collaboration with Juan Ruiz, MD, Pediatric Pulmonologist at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, alongside clinicians, public health practitioners, and a Community Advisory Board.
Toolkit – Coming Soon
The companion toolkit puts asthma management into families’ hands. Action plans, inhaler guides, and trigger maps translate clinical guidance into clear, practical steps caregivers and kids can use every day—at home, at school, and in the moments that matter most.
